Aradah Application

Motion Graphic & Commercial Ads, 2020

Zafar created a dynamic and engaging motion graphic for the Aradah application, an innovative app that simplifies the process of finding the perfect car. The animation style used 2D animation, incorporated realistic car models, and featured user interface elements. This motion graphic served to showcase the app’s user-friendly interface and promote the app to broader audience.

Ramadan Kareem 2021

Motion Graphic, 2021

Zafar designed and animated a motion graphic for Ramadan Kareem 2021, showing an Islamic masjid (mosque) during the dawn. This project aimed to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan and convey greetings.

MTN Afghanistan Winback

Motion Graphic & Commercial Ads, 2024

For MTN Afghanistan, Zafar created a dynamic 30-second commercial advertisement, showcasing their new data plan aimed at young adults. The ad features vibrant visuals, fast-paced editing, and a catchy soundtrack. He utilized Adobe Illustrator for creating stylized graphic elements, Maxon C4D for animating a 3D representation of data flow, Adobe After Effects for compositing the visuals and adding motion graphics, and Adobe Premiere for video editing, sound mixing, and final mastering. This project demonstrates Zafar’s ability to manage a full video production workflow, from concept to final product.

The Faded Field

Short Story & Illustration, 2025

An illustrated tale that follows a boy on an unexpected ‘journey’ through time. As he plays football with his friends, the ball goes out of the field, and he chases the runaway ball. After returning to the field, he is suddenly struck by the realization that years have slipped away in the blink of an eye, transporting him to a transformed world. Zafar wrote and directed the story, colorized, edited, and finalized the sketches.
